DIRECTOR OF PLANT OPERATIONS
 Summary
 The Director of Plant Operations works closely with internal departments and team members to strategize, develop and facilitate a team environment, focusing on lean manufacturing and internal and external customer-responsiveness. The Director of Plant Operations will identify, implement and oversee enhancement of core functions (i.e., plant operations, responsiveness, training programs, budgets, quality and observation of regulatory compliance).  The Director of Plant Operations will direct staff on providing in-house consultations regarding plant operations, and management issues in all facets of plant operations. The Director of Plant Operations will collaborate with staff to develop plans that foster professional growth and related programs for employees and maintains an effective communication strategy that promotes employee engagement, interaction, and recognition. The primary focus of the Director of Plant Operations is to provide guidance, identify and implement efficient strategies for the manufacturing operation regarding the execution of duties, regulations and compliance. Establish and oversees the department’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and business practices to ensure achievement of company goals relating to enhanced operating efficiencies for all core competencies. Oversees and monitors the continual improvement of processes. Identifies and recommends plans, programs, projects and budgeting.  Â

Work Environment:
This job operates in both a professional office environment and a manufacturing production environment. This role routinely spends multiple hours working on the manufacturing facility working on production processes and will utilize standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc.
