The Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity is looking to hire a Division Manager in the Office of Employment and Training (OET) to oversee the administration of the workforce programs authorized by the Climate and Equitable Jobs Act (CEJA). The CEJA Division Manager oversees a team a regional administrators, program and grant managers. The CEJA Division Manager works with a team to formulate, plan and administer major components of the CEJA, other relevant programs and subsequent iterations; administers statutes of CEJA, supervises staff and community-based organizations; analyzes status of the programs, coordinates with other division and agency staff with projects that cross multiple divisions. The ideal candidate will also able be able to work with the OET management team to identify and operationalize best practices in serving populations experiencing barriers to employment using public and private funding at the federal state and local levels.
